Every day Breton researchers explore new applications originating from the sea resources
At the beginning of October, over 40 researchers and companies from Bretagne, the rest of France and Quebec met at Saint-Malo to exchange their experience and discuss new technologies. This 2-day conference also included partnering sessions in order to initiate business exchanges.
Sea is one of the first words associated with Bretagne. With 2,700 km of coasts indeed, the sea plays an important role in the heart of the Breton and... in the regional economy. And it goes much further than simply tourism, fishing, nautical sports, naval industry etc . Cosmetics, health, hydraulic energy, biotechnologies ... the Breton researchers explore every day new applications originating from the regional sea resources. And they are keen on sharing their experience with other laboratories or companies from all over the world.
At the beginning of October, over 40 researchers and companies from Bretagne, the rest of France and Quebec met at Saint-Malo to exchange their experience and discuss new technologies. This 2-day conference initiated by the Quebec Delegation in Paris and the Breton Sea cluster (Pôle Mer) also included partnering sessions in order to initiate business partnerships.
