Conferences, workshops, exhibitions about maritime security.
Brest métropole océane urban community council, working in collaboration with a broad spectrum of scientific and technological partners and, in particular, with the Brest Iroise Technopole, and with the support of the Pôle Mer Bretagne hub of economic competitiveness, is organising Safer Seas, a follow-up international event devoted to the issues of maritime security and safety to be held from the 9 to 12 October this year.
The workshops will focus on following topics:
- Strengthening maritime safety policy: Leverage, perspectives and technological developments
- Stepping up action against marine pollution: resources, sanctions and perspectives
- Maritime security and safety in the face of new threats
